In collaboration with the architect, designer and client, my goal is to create unique work that responds to the quality of light, the architectural style and the nature of the space.<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Using line as an integral element of design and using the refractive qualities of blown glass I craft a theater of light that is specific to its site.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner column_margin=”default” bottom_padding=”40″ text_align=”left”][vc_column_inner column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1\/6″ column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][vc_custom_heading text=”About” font_container=”tag:h5|text_align:left|color:%23dd9933″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ width=”5\/6″ column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][vc_column_text]Frank Close began working with glass in Berkeley California in the early 70\u2019s where he studied under Casey Lewis, Peter Mollica and the influential German artist Ludwig Schaffrath.
